Smart shifts your company can make to reduce employee stress

You don’t need a PhD in psychology or neuroscience to know that an employee who is stressed out about finances, family, health, or other issues won’t be as productive or effective. But what can human resources leaders do to reduce stress when so much of it originates outside the workplace?

In this engaging session, Arianna Huffington and Jon Schlossberg share their experiences and perspectives drawn from working with leading employers and some of the most forward-thinking CHROs in business. They explore best practices to help employees reduce stress, build resilience and achieve healthier work-life integration. They also share actionable steps leaders can take immediately to boost productivity and retention and create a more resilient workforce.

“We have so much data that shows that productivity is going down during high levels of stress… Stress reduces the prefrontal cortex capacity and function. That affects productivity.”

“The way you tackle problems, especially when they're really big, is to immediately get started...inaction is the only action which I believe is not acceptable.”
